Careers in Music Courses, School of Music, Univ. of Arizona
Dr. Karin Nolan, Adjunct Professor of Music

CAREERS IN MUSIC (MUS 427A-B / 527A-B) is a two-semester sequence of courses offered each year in the School of Music. This course complements traditional music training with a practical blueprint for building a successful career.  It is a "hands-on" course where you are encouraged to develop your own professional materials and path. Promotional packets and personal web sites are designed and created, and the course will feature guest speakers and performers who have succeeded professionally and artistically: presenting information and materials to help you be a successful and creative person.

Careers in Music is a required course for the degree of Bachelor of Music Performance and for Bachelor of Arts in Music Business. Enrollment is restricted to Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate students, and is limited to 25 students.
